Why do they hate her?

Reading Neoneocon’s take left becoming unhinged due to the Palin nomination, it struck me… The left hates Sarah Palin because she’s happy.
She has what is apparently a good marriage; lovely family, not perfect, but lovely and happy; she’s got a child with Down’s Syndrome… and she’s happy! Despite being a woman, and working Mom, and mother of a baby with Downs’ Syndrome and living in a small town, and not going to an ivy League School, and living in Alaska… Sara Palin is happy.
She’s not a victim, she doesn’t hate men, she’s feminine yet strong, beautiful, yet smart… but above all, shes’ Happy.
Happy. She’s happy about being American, is patriotic and proud of her country, and doesn’t see a big reason to change the character of the country. She’s happy with America… she only wants it govern better to make more people happy like her.
The left can’t stand the success and happiness of any Conservative, let alone a Conservative woman, for the left is generally UNhappy. Complaining, and invested in their victimhood, people of the left are NOT happy. For them AMERICA is no place to be happy since “Amerika” is the cause of all the world’s woes. “Amerika” needs to be re-educated and changed… and optimism and happiness are simply signs of ignorance. The left is unhappy, angry and mean… and because of their unhappiness and pessimism they won’t win the White House.

You’re on the money. It is amazing to see the twists and turns as the fury unfolds - those who advocated for women to work and have kids, who advocate for daycare, and HeadStart, and the Nanny State are suddenly furious that this woman has a career with kids. They’re mad because she is married, beautiful, all the things you say - but you’re right - it’s because she is happy!
AND because she is a Republican.
